The University’s Faculty for Social Wellbeing will launch a new Master of Arts in Social Policy in October, focused on European social policy and EU funding programmes.

The Master’s programme is aimed at people working or wishing to work in social research and evaluation, policy analysis and planning and EU-funded social projects.

It will run on a part-time basis over three years, with two evening lectures a week for the first two years and a dissertation in the third year. The taught component also includes courses on the various stages of administering an EU project, from design to evaluation.

The programme includes a practicum, often undertaken at one’s place of work under tutoring, which provides an ideal opportunity for reflective learning.

For course details visit www.um.edu.mt/socialwellbeing/overview/PMASPCPET9-2014-5-O.

Applications are to be received by Thursday, and may be submitted online to www.um.edu.mt/registrar/prospective/applyonline.
