Obituary
GALEA. Suddenly on July 18 at her residence in Valletta, aged 80, MARGARET comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Victor, her daughters Silvana and her husband Alexander Arena, Rosanne and her husband Brian Darmanin, her granddaughter Jessica, her brother Ġużi, her sister Rosaria, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege will leave Mater Dei today at 1.30pm for Mass praesente cadavere to be said at 2pm at St Paul’s Shipwreck parish church, Valletta, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id- Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
LOCHTENBERG. On June 14, in Sydney, FIONA, née Borda, aged 55, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Mark, her son and daughter Jan and Jessica, her daughter Faye, husband Johno Purdon and grandson Jasper, her mother Gladys and her husband Joe Debono, her father Frank and his wife Pauline, her sisters Sabrina, Michaela, Bettina and her husband Jeremy Kirk, her brothers Mark and Paul, her in-laws Margaret and Ben, her aunt Gloria and her husband Frank Mizzi, her aunt Monique and her husband Stephen James, her brothers and sisters-in-law Jan and Carrie, Anna and Nick Williams, Michael and Jennifer, Maggie and Mark Burgess, Benedict and Jeannie, Lucy and Det Papenfuss, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on July 28 at 9am at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, and in accordance with her wishes her ashes will be scattered 12 miles north of Malta. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
