More than €70,000 were collected by 11pm in the 60-hour live broadcasting Ohloq Tbissima marathon that kicked off yesterday at noon and carries on uninterrupted until tomorrow at midnight.

The marathon, opened by President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca yesterday, was today visited by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition leader Simon Busuttil, among others.

The public can take part in the marathon by visiting St. Joseph Home in Santa Venera and donating.

A €10 can be made by calling 5160 2004, €15 - 5170 2007, €25 - 5180 2009, €4.66 by sending an SMS to 5061 8099. One can also donate online here.
