Obituary

FARRUGIA. On July 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, ELVIRA, née Fichera, of Ħamrun, aged 86, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Franco and his fiancée Juliana, Nella, Carlo and his wife Marica, Mario and his wife Marika, her beloved grand­children, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FENECH. On July 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, after a short illness, CARMEN of Birkirkara, residing in Siġġiewi, aged 87, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Sina, widow of Anthony Micallef, her sister-in-law Mary, widow of Joseph, her brother Alfred and his wife Lucy, her sisters Catherine and Rita and her husband Dr Mark Anthony Vassallo, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
