FORMOSA. On July 15, at St James Capua Hospital, JOHN, aged 77, ex-Director of Formosa Construction Co. Ltd, passed away peacefully after a short illness and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his childen Anne-Marie, wife of Manuel Baldacchino, Jacqueline, wife of Michael Formosa, Monica, wife of Philip Vella, and Alex and his wife Elena, his beloved grandchildren, Eve, Julian, Stefano, Tatiana, Duncan, Rebecca, Daniela and Roberta, his sister, brothers, their families, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. SALIBA. On July 14, EMANUEL of Mosta, aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria Angela, his children Connie and her husband Leslie and Josefa and her fiancé Chris, his beloved grandchildren Jaidon Lee and Meghan Jo, his brother and his sisters, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. VELLA. On July 14, Capt. AUSTIN of Mosta, aged 56, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Bernardette, née Vella, his children Christina, wife of Matthew, Nicole and her partner Robert, and Sarah, his step-children Nicholas and his wife Staka, Lisa and her partner James, and Jonathan and his partner Stephanie. His irreparable loss is felt also by his mother Emily, widow of Lawrence, his brothers Mario, Joe, Emidio, Edwin and Leonard, his sisters Marlene, Connie, Monica, Lycia and Isabella, as well as his in-laws Frans, Joe, Twanny, Mary, Doris, Helen, Gaetano and Charles, all their spouses and various relatives and friends, especially his extended family for the past 25 years within Transport Malta Pilotage Corps. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.30pm for the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery.
