Enjoy a quieter life with CFX concert grand sound at home with the all-new Yamaha SH Silent pianos. The range of Yamaha Silent upright and grand acoustic pianos represents the most significant technological advances for pianists since the introduction of the award-winning silent concept by Yamaha in 1993.

These instruments offer all the benefits of a traditional acoustic piano, plus a host of added features. Pianists can now use headphones to play in silence, connect their pianos to computers and enjoy a wide range of extra sounds from the onboard digital sound generator. This new technology ensures an exceptional playing experience when switching between acoustic and silent mode.

Audio output connections make the new models ideal for stage or studio settings and the player can record practice or live performances as audio (WAV) files or MIDI data. In addition to the grand piano sound there are 19 other voices, including strings, harpsichord, organs and electric pianos.

To support the introduction of the new Silent Series, Yamaha has created an informative and entertaining new website uk.yamaha.com/silentpiano, with videos explaining the key benefits and technological advances of these pianos.
