Hyundai Europe is enhancing its commitment to Europe’s young business talents by introducing a new initiative to encourage them to be innovative and think big.

The initiative, entitled Live Brilliant, seeks to humanise the brand by exploring concepts such as love and friendship where cars are portrayed as being much more than just modes of transport.

“When you have an emotional connection with a product, its value tends to be greater with you,” says Francesca Mamo from Hyundai Malta. “You stop thinking about it as a commodity and you start thinking about it as an integral part of your life. From a company perspective, thinking this way allows us to create customers for life, and we are able to create a real connection with our consumers.”

The Live Brilliant concept will see Malta competing with other European countries in the Brilliant Young Entrepreneurs, a competition run by Hyundai Europe in partnership with Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe (JA-YE).

The competition is open to all third year Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy students. Third year university students following other courses are also encouraged to participate.

Hyundai Europe will be offering seed capital of €15,000 to fuel-inject the lucky winners of the award.

Launching the competition at University, Lorna Farrugia from the Junior Achievement (Young Enterprise) Malta Foundation explained how this competition seeks to encourage young European leaders of tomorrow to turn their business dreams into reality.

The competition was held for the first time last year. Malta will be participating for the first time this year.

Other non-University students interested in this programme can contact JA-YE Malta on info@youngenterprise.org.mt.
