Malta Rock Movement (MRM) will be holding a show to celebrate the music of Pink Floyd, Wish You Were on the Dark Side, during this year’s edition of the beer festival. Focusing on two of the band’s best-known albums – Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon – the concert will feature a live band and a big cast of singers and musicians. In true Pink Floyd spirit, the show will feature visuals and lighting effects to match thepsychedelic theme of Pink Floyd’s music.

MRM concert productions feature a variety of local artistes like Peter Borg, Wayne Camilleri and Gianni Zammit. MRM is known for big-scale, high-quality musical productions that portray high-end visuals, lighting effects and props.

Their previous shows, such as The Wall by Pink Floyd invariably played to packed houses.

The band includes Raphael Tonna on drums, Jeremy Micallef on guitar, Peter Borg on guitar, Antoine Tonna on bass, Geoffrey Farrugia on keys and Mark Attard on keys and directing backing vocals.

Singers include Matthew James Borg, Gaia Cauchi, Gianni Zammit, Brian Muscat, Matthew Micallef, Jesmond Tedesco Triccasich and Daniel Genuis, with backing vocals by Olivia Lewis, Georgina Abela, Fiona Cauchi and Yorika Attard.
