I would like to tell readers about a wonderful experience.
I went along to renew the yellow card for my medication at St Luke’s Hospital and was expecting another trauma like the one I experienced two years ago. But, to my surprise, instead of the huge queue I was expecting, there was nothing there. I thought I was in the wrong place.
Apparently, St Luke’s now opens five days a week for the renewal of medical cards and instead of two receptionists there are now four. I was in and out within five minutes with my new yellow card.
I would therefore like to say a huge thank you to this government for succeeding in turning an awful experience into a pleasurable one.
May I add that it was the same when we went to renew our ID cards. No more awful queues; we were in and out within 10 minutes.
What a huge difference from two years ago when one had to practically fight to get into the queue.
