Mcast board of governors write:

The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology expresses its deepest condolences on the passing away of its former president of the board of governors, Paul Attard.

Mr Attard was president of the Mcast board of governors between 2006 and 2010 and was a leading champion of vocational education and training in Malta and Gozo, giving an important and crucial contribution to the development and growth of the college.

Mr Attard always sought to place students at the centre of Mcast’s provision of VET programmes and its activities. He took personal interest in student needs and his frequent presence at the college reflected his untiring commitment to make Mcast Malta’s leading VET institution.

Under his leadership, the college managed to develop further the student support services and to embark on the revision of its curriculums in its various institutes.

His enthusiasm and commitment were and will remain a model for all to follow.

While thanking Mr Attard for his strong contribution to Mcast, the president of the board of governors, the governors, principal and all staff members express their solidarity and sympathy with his wife Margaret, their children and the rest of the family at this difficult time.

May the lord grant him eternal rest.
