St Martin’s College Sixth Form organised its annual end-of-year celebration.

On behalf of the students, Max Parnis England, Sarah Zrinzo and Ben Cassar Galea highlighted the significance of the event and explained how important support structures were for students.

They also reminisced daily life at the college and the value of the friendships they fostered.

Sixth Form senior leader Anthony Abela spoke about the important career choices students would now need to make and underlined the importance of values such as understanding, kindness and compassion in today’s working world.

Director of Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College Bernie Mizzi presented certificates to all the students in the presence of their families, friends and college staff.

University rector Juanito Camilleri presented awards to students in recognition of outstanding effort and achievement in particular areas.

The recipients were: Duncan Mifsud, Sarah Zrinzo and Maria Pia Arana Barbier (academic excellence); Mohamed Dekna (cooperation and collaboration); Tessa Schembri (self-discipline); Alexandra Tortell (leadership qualities and good judgement); and Michela Laurenti (resilience, perseverance and tenacity).
