Showing a photograph of Bisazza Street taken at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon (‘A deserted street’, The Sunday Times of Malta, June 29) does not make a strong argument against the pedestrianisation of the street.

Why should we expect pedestrians to be there at that time of the day when all the shops are closed?
