William Nicoll, an expert in individual and family counselling, brief therapy and resilience from the University of Florida Atlantic, US, will lead a summer school on Adlerian counselling and therapy from July 14 to 18 at the University’s Valletta campus.

The course is organised by the Faculty for Social Wellbeing’s Department of Counselling.

Participants will be introduced to Adler’s individual psychology and its unique wellness/ resilience-focused orientation to assessment and intervention.

They will learn to integrate the strategies and techniques of Adlerian psychology with other wellness-promoting approaches such as positive psychology, resilience and social-emotional intelligence.

The training event is aimed at professionals, academics and students in the fields of counselling, psychology, education, health sciences and other helping professions.

Participation fee is €225. Places are limited.
