DEGIORGIO. On July 2, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOHN, aged 92, went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Rosette and her husband Arthur Sciberras, his grandsons Karl and his wife Felicia Sciberras, Paul and his wife Melissa Sciberras, his great-grandson Marcello Sciberras, his sisters Etty Smale and Mary Camilleri, his brother Arthur and his wife Connie Degiorgio, his brothers-in-law Manuel Stivala, Paul and his wife Bice Asciaq and Emmanuel and his wife Doreen Asciaq, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 8am at St Joseph parish church, Msida, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal peace.
SAMMUT. On July 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Sliema, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his sons and daughters, Michelle and her husband Ronnie, Reno and his wife Ruth, Marisa and her husband Chris, Jonathan and his partner Annabelle, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law and their families, nephews and nieces, cousins, especially Jojo, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Balluta parish church, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crèche, Sliema, will be greatly appreciated.
