Maltese driver Keith Camilleri drove to fifth position in the first race of  Round 2 of the FIA Formula 4 Italian Championship 2014 at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari race track in Imola yesterday. A further two races will be held this afternoon.

Camilleri started on ninth and moved to sixth by the first corner, after overtaking his team mate Zack Dante, Cairoli and Matveev.

From there on Keith controlled his race following closely his new team mate at Team Adria Raceway, Mattia Drudi and Andrea Russo of Diegi Motorsport, both of whom were challenging for the 3rd position.

Drudi and Russo touched wheels resulting in the former ending up last, before recovering to eighth.

Camilleri performed a text-book overtaking at the infamous Tamburello corner to seal his 5th place.
