Daphne Delicata, 7, who attends Gozo College Rabat Primary, obtained the highest marks in the ninth edition of the Mozart International Piano Competition in Rome. She was awarded the Primo Premio Assoluto in her category with a score of 98/100. Daphne had previously won a special prize for Maltese participants at the Malta International Music Festival and Competition. She is seen with her teacher Irina Fedcenko-Carbonaro from Lithuania.
