Artist John Paul Azzopardi is exhibiting a collection of sculptural works dealing with constructs made from a variety of synthetic and organic materials.

The works create a bricolage of intertextuality, thus shaping an arrangement of texts ranging from ancient to contemporary philosophical notions, mythological and social critique.

Existential symbolic expressions are used to reveal hidden psychological structures and phenomenological tensions, simultaneously creating a confrontation with contemporary concerns and aesthetics.

The exhibition runs at Il-Haġar Heart of Gozo museum, Victoria, between June 28 and July 27.
