Manchester techno artist Means&3rd will perform in Malta at an event being organised by Bonsai.

Means&3rd, otherwise known as Ben Marsden, has become a mainstay not only on the Manchester club scene, but also internationally, with gigs that have taken him as far as Croatia.

The artist has played with some of the scene’s biggest names, including Marcellus Pittman, Traxx, and Ben Klock. He has warmed up for Surgeon, Tama Sumo and Amir Alexander and was also recently asked to perform on The Boiler Room, at the world-famous Warehouse Project. His set can be streamed via https://boilerroom.tv/recording/means3rd .

A keen vinyl enthusiast, Marsden is currently working at Eastern Bloc Records and holds a residency at Manchester’s Bohemian Grove, one of Manchester’s top house and techno clubbing promoters.

During the Malta event, Marsden will be playing a three-hour set exclusively on vinyl. The line-up also includes sets by Romanian underground DJ Munsterlander (also one of the founders of Bonsai), tech house and techno duo Blacksheep (Miguel Scicluna and Luke Micallef) and deep tech act Da Sciba.

Bonsai will also be taking part in the Sunscape Festival, which starts on September 3 in Xlendi.

The event is being held on July 4 at Liquid Club, San Ġwann.
