GALEA. On June 20, at Apap Institute, EMILY, of Valletta, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers, Mgr. Anton Galea, Ivo and his wife Furta, Charles and his wife Marie, as well as her nephew Ian and his wife Nathalie and their children Francesca and Clara, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at St Venera parish church tomorrow, Sunday at 10.15am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

HARDMAN. On June 4, MARY R.L, retired teacher, suddenly and peacefully in Hospital, at Bromley, Kent, UK, comforted by the rites of the Anglican Church. Beloved friend and long time companion of Joe Gerada Azzopardi A&CE., dearly loved sister of Margaret and a dear Aunt. A great friend to many in Malta and Blackpool. Funeral on Tuesday June 24 at Beckenham Crematorium, Kent at 1.30pm. SALOMONE. On June 18, CARMELA, known as Nené née Mizzi, widow of Calcedonio, passed away peacefully, at Karin Grech Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Henry and partner Valerie, Norma, Paul together with his wife Violet, her brothers Rev. Fr. Herman, Lucio, Godfrey, Joseph and Maurice, sisters-in-law, amongst other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held at the Sanctuary of St Therese of the Child Jesus, in Birkirkara, today, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
