Kevin Moore continued to improve the national record over the 200m distance when taking his new level to 21.04 seconds during the EAP Athletic Meeting in Geneva, on Saturday.

Moore placed second in his heat which was won by British sprinter Timothy Abeyie.

He was eventually classified fifth overall from a field of 38 runners hailing from different countries in Europe.

Moore had established the previous record of 21.16 last month during another 200m race in Canberra, Australia, where he is based.

Moore’s participation in the Geneva meet was made possible thanks to the MOC Elite scheme.
