Roberto Vitale graduated with a distinction after following a Master’s of Business programme at the Manchester Business School in the UK.
Vitale was additionally conferred the Best Performer Award for placing first among 70 fellow course participants.
Vitale acted as an external consultant to the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on a three-month consulting engagement that sought to assess the market structure of the Next Generation Access Networks (NGAN) sector within the Greater Manchester conurbation in terms of market openness, market competitiveness and the dominant business models adopted by the main NGAN economic operators.
The client-endorsed report was employed as the key input document to the formal feedback submitted by the chamber to the central UK government in light of revised guidelines adopted by the EU Commission in terms of State aid for this market segment.
Vitale embarked on the business programme following a Steps scholarship part-financed by the EU – European Social Fund under Operational Programme II – Cohesion Policy 2007-2013, ‘Empowering People for More Jobs and a Better Quality of Life’.
