A 30-hour course entitled ‘2D and 3D Autocad Modelling – From Drawings to Rapid Prototyping Models’ will start on July 1 at the Cad/Cam Systems Laboratory of the University’s Faculty of Engineering.
This course is aimed at anyone interested to acquire skills in basic 2D and 3D modelling features of Autocad, and learn how to create physical models directly from computer-aided design. It will also introduce participants to the University’s rapid prototyping technology.
It is particularly relevant to staff working in architecture, interior design, product design, building services and manufacturing.
The tutor is Philip Farrugia, a lecturer at the University’s Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
The course is organised by the department in collaboration with Malta University Consulting Ltd.
