SAMMUT. On June 8, MELINA, née Zammit, widow of Notary Dr Angelo Sammut, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Maria and her husband Lawrence Montebello, Henrietta and her husband Louis Bianchi, Michael and his wife Sandra, Nathalie, widow of Wilfred T. Borg, Johanna and her husband David DeBono, her dearest grandchildren, Mark and Lyza, Daniel and Maria, Michela and Kris, Francesca and James and Matthew, her great-grandchildren Ella and Emma, her sister Connie Micallef, her sister-in-law Mona Zammit, nephews and nieces. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 8am for Balzan parish church where Mass will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the hospital staff on the third floor and her personal doctors for their constant care and dedication. Special thanks go to her carer, Arlene Bunyi Sadili. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SAUNDERS. On June 10, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, INES, née Attard, of Ħamrun, widow of Albert, aged 97, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nephew and nieces, Monica Attard, Anna, widow of her nephew Adrian Attard, Rita and her husband Edward Caruana, Alex Attard and his wife Sandra, her great nephews and nieces whom she treasured so much, Alan and Nicola, Alexia and Aldo, Alison and Saviour, Joseph and Christine, Thomas, and Sophie, her great-grandnieces Emma, Abigail and Isabelle, her husband’s family in the UK, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine’s Home tomorrow at 8.30am for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family wish to show their appreciation to the Dominican nuns and staff at St Catherine’s Home for their dedication and care. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

TANTI. On June 10, at Karen Grech Rehabilitatiin Centre, MARIA, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by therites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Joseph, her daughter Victoria married to Charles Farrugia, her grandchildren Noel and Lydia married to James Farrugia, her niece Stefania and nephews Christian and Gabriel, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2.30pm at Our Lady Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ATTARD BAYLISS – JOSEPHINE. In treasured memory of a dearest mother and grandmother, today the fourth anniversary of her death. Sadly missed, always remembered with love and gratitude by her children and grandchildren.

DARMENIA. Remembering ALBERT on the 36th anniversary of his passing away. Love leaves memories no one can steal. His beloved wife Rose and nieces Louiana, Audrey and Sarah. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DeBONO. In ever loving memory of our dear mother MIRIAM on the sixth anniversary of her death. Sadly missed by her sons Edward, Martin and David and their families. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said on June 15 at 11am at Casa Leone, St Julians. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
