The criticism levelled by former Finance Minister Tonio Fenech about Enemalta’s financial situation could not be credible due to his poor track when in charge of this State entity, the Labour Party said yesterday.

In his remarks during the presentation of the corporation’s estimates Mr Fenech yesterday said that the decision to lower utility tariffs had led to an increase in Enemalta’s debts. The PL reiterated that the PN government had left the corporation ridden with debts and the Labour government had halved them.
