Euro Media Forum is presenting ‘Grace Kelly – How Monaco stole Hitchcock’s screen jewel’ at Bottegin Palazzo Xara, Rabat, tomorrow at 8pm.

In just seven years, from 1950 through 1956, Grace Kelly embarked on a whirlwind career that included roles in 11 movies: from the principled Amy Fowler Kane in High Noon to her performance as the thrill-seeking Frances Stevens in Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief, a role that would take her to Monaco and change her life forever.

Guest speaker Susan Waitt will lead the audience into a greater appreciation of this actress who was idolised by Hitchcock, courted by Clark Gable, Bing Crosby, William Holden and others, until she abandoned her career at the age of 26 to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco.

The audience is invited to participate and put forward questions and observations to the guest speaker. There will also be a film quiz, with the opportunity to win a number of prizes.

This event is being organised in collaboration with Bottegin Palazzo Xara in Rabat, Giotto Restaurant and Eden Cinemas.

Limited seating is available. For bookings, e-mail euromediaforum@gmail.com or send an sms to 99454066, or log in to www.facebook.com/Euro.Media.Forum.
