Grimaldi Group are the official sponsors of Neptunes Waterpolo and Swimming Club for the 2014 season.

Ernest Sullivan, managing director acting on behalf of Grimaldi Group, signed the sponsorship agreement with Matthew Bonello, the Neptunes WPSC president.

Grimaldi Group have a long-standing business and family relationship with the Maltese islands and the Neptunes sponsorship is another step to support local sports initiatives.

“Neptunes were always a natural choice for me since I was a youngster, hence signing this agreement today, is further proof of our support for this prestigious waterpolo club,” Sullivan said in a statement.

He took the opportunity to wish Bonello, his committee and the players the best of success for the national waterpolo championship just started and augured there will be more collaboration between the two parties in the coming years.

Whilst thanking Grimaldi Group for the valuable support, Bonello said: “Over the years, Neptunes have always been supported by companies of international standing and repute, and now we are very proud to be associated with a prominent name like that of Grimaldi.

“We are grateful for their support and look forward to another successful season during which Neptunes will be bidding to set a new record by winning five consecutive league titles.”
