For the past two years, Maria Regina College Boys’ Secondary, Mosta, has taken part in a Comenius project entitled Olympic Spirit Uniting Europe, with secondary schools in Poland, the UK and Germany.

The project’s main aim is to promote the values related to the Olympic and Paralympic games. The students developed a basic dictionary in four languages, produced an anthem for the project, wrote stories on the theme ‘Sports and Me’ and gathered reflections on the post-war period. They also tried sports activities not normally practised in their own countries.

The project was supported by the Lifelong Learning programme through the EUPA in Malta.
