Q: I ordered a perfume online but the seller did not have the perfume I wanted in stock. I therefore chose another perfume, which was meant to be delivered two weeks ago. When I called the seller to enquire about my order, I was informed that it was delivered and that I signed for the delivery. This is not true. What can I do and what are my rights?

A: It is up to the seller to provide proof that the perfume has been delivered to you. Since you’re saying that the seller is claiming you signed for the delivery, you may request that you see the delivery note you ‘signed’.

Unless the seller is able to provide such proof, legally you have the right to be provided with the perfume you ordered or given your money back.
