Professor and head of the Koryu-Toyoki school in Japan, Riho Miyamoto, held a presentation on the Ikebana technique at the Seashells Resort of the Suncrest Hotel in Qawra.

In her presentation, Miyamoto explained how the art of Ikebana flower-arranging can be an extension of music, dance and poetry and how these can work together.

Helped by her scholars and son, Miyamoto’s presentation featured poetry, recital and dance.

The seminar formed part of the annual flower exhibition by the Malta Horticultural Society at San Anton Gardens.
