Fr Raniero Cantalamessa paid a visit to the Sacred Heart Seminary in Victoria.

Fr Cantalamessa, a member of the Capuchin Order, is a preacher to Pope Francis, a role he also occupied under Pope St John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI.

At the seminary he was welcomed by rector Fr Daniel Xerri and delivered a speech to priests, religious members and pastoral members on the theme of ‘Be full with the Holy Ghost. A new Pentacost for a Sacred Life’.

During his visit Fr Cantalamessa was accompanied by Apostolic Nuncio Aldo Cavalli and Fr Hayden Williams, OFM Cap.

He also met Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.
