Dolce is the newest fragrance from D&G, heralding in an emotional journey through the heart of the brand’s DNA: the noble land of Sicily.

With a gentle, feminine mix of white flowers, introduced by the freshness of the neroli leaves and defined by the white amaryllis, a South African flower used for the first time ever in scent, Dolce opens with a brightly-coloured, sweet-smelling explosion, dissipating into a floral bouquet as the core of the fragrance emerges.

Dolce’s elegant packaging is reminiscent of a vintage fragrance flacon: thick, clear glass with softly curved lines lending a contemporary design edge. The flower stopper pays tribute to Sicilian customs, crafted to portray the marzipan sculptures seen in traditional Sicilian confectionery shops. The bud is perfection itself and the petals fan out in three rows, starting with a milky white, through to cream and soft pink at the centre.

A thin black grosgrain ribbon, presented in an elegant bow, conjures images of the white shirts and bow-ties that were a signature of early Dolce&Gabbana catwalk shows.

Shoppers get a handbag mirror when purchasing the 75ml eau de toilette version and a bracelet with the 50ml bottle.
