Young teenage schoolgirls from St Ignatius College Ħandaq Secondary School recently visited Mother Teresa Ward 1 at St Vincent de Paul residence, Luqa, for an intergenerational exchange of skills, traditions, knowledge and attitudes during a creative knitting session organised by the Directorate for Lifelong Learning.

Involving school children in activities held by the elderly is a way to reduce the social barriers between different generations and enhance social cohesion.
