The Marina Hotel Corinthia Beach Resort in St George’s Bay is hosting Take me to the Marina, a fun-packed week of activities, starting tomorrow and ending next Sunday.

An exhibition of paintings and sculptures, by Pawl Carbonaro, Andrew Diacono, Austin Camilleri, Celia Borg Cardona, Paul Scerri, Gilbert Calleja, Robert Zahra and Jesmond Vassallo, will be opened tomorrow at 7.30pm and remain on display the entire week. Live entertainment will be by Luca Xuereb.

A cake-decorating pastry class by chef Nicky Vella will be held on Tuesday from 10am to noon. Floral designer Alistair Fenech will hold a flower arranging class focusing on the use of fresh flowers and foliage. The class costs €48.

There will be live comedy by Marie Claire Pellegrini, Malcolm Galea and Steve Hili at 8pm at the Dukes Club. Entrance is free.

Patrons can opt for an Italian-themed buffet dinner at the Bayview restaurant, accompanied by live entertainment by Floor Zero.

Wednesday will feature seafood cooking by chef Nicky Vella. Price is €20 and includes lunch and a glass of wine.

A fair featuring Delicata Wines between 6 and 10.30pm will offer patrons the chance to sample over 12 wines from Malta and Gozo. Wednesday night is Maltese night at the Bayview restaurant. Diners will be accompanied by live entertainment by David Xuereb and his band.

Dinner at the Marina restaurant will be available on Thursday between 6 and 10.30pm, with Sicilian dishes accompanied by Donnafugata wines, or at the Bayview restaurant for those who prefer Middle Eastern cuisine. Live entertainment on the day will be provided by Joe Rosco.

A meat-cooking class will be held between 9am and 1pm on Friday by chef Nicky Vella. Price is €20 and includes lunch and a glass of wine. An al fresco dining experience will also be available between 6 and 10.30pm at Vinotheque, accompanied by live entertainment by Ronnie Busuttil. Patrons may also opt for a buffet dinner showcasing culinary delights from Spain at the Bayview restaurant.

Friday will also feature a Feel Good charity event in aid of Hospice Malta from 9pm to 4am at the Dukes Club, with Errol, Claudia and Ryan, Red Electrick, Pete& Papps & Gianni, Skarlet and DJ Ziggy.

There will be children’s animation on Saturday from 11am to 5pm. Activities include pizza making, bouncy castles, face painting, balloon modelling, mascots, a puppet show and Barney, Chipmunks and Bob the Builder shows.

The Champions League final match between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will be shown in one of the resort’s restaurants on Saturday. On the day, patrons may opt for an Asian buffet dinner at the Bayview restaurant.

Sunday will offer children a great day out between 11am and 5pm with various activities and live entertainment by Cheryl Balzan in the evening.

A Farsons’ beverage stall will be on the premises every day, selling a selection of beers as well as Strongbow cider and spirits.
