Kokka Night, an annual awards ceremony organised by the University Students’ Council (KSU) to celebrate the non-academic aspects of University life, was recently held at the University’s Valletta campus.
Among the awards handed out, the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) won the Kokka Organizzazjoni for the most active student organisation, and biology lecturer Dr Sandro Lanfranco was awarded the Kokka Professur for the lecturer who worked hardest to educate his students.
Paul Igoe, vice chair of the Erasmus Student Network, won the Kokka Internazzjonali for the international student who was most involved in local activities.
Christopher Bergedahl, president of the Malta Model United Nations Society, was presented the prestigious Kokka tas-Sena for the student who displayed holistic excellence in his University life.
