Malta Public Transport will be operating a special bus service tonight because of the celebration of the 10-year anniversary since Malta joined in the European Union.

Direct buses will be available from Valletta to all localities starting from 11pm until 2am when the last buses leave the station. Direct buses will leave from Valletta Bus Terminus frequently depending on demand.

Tickets for the special bus services cost €3 for the entire day (including unlimited day services) and can be bought on the buses or from ticket booths in Valletta, Bugibba, University, Sliema and the airport, as well as bus-ticket sellers around the island.

The Floriana Park & Ride will be open on a 24-hour basis, with the mini-bus services operating a special route after 6pm taking Park & Ride users to Crucifix Hill (by Boffa Hospital). Normal rates of 40c per vehicle will apply, including return transport for the driver and passengers.
