AGIUS. On April 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT, ex-teacher, of San Ġwann, aged 72, passed away suddenly and peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Rose, his daughter Karyn and her husband David Bonett, his son Robert, his grandchildren Georgina and Nick, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for San Ġwann parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BONANNO. On April 22, at his residence, JOSEPH, former owner of Billy’s Car Hire, Mellieħa, aged 82, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his dearest wife Dolores, his children Stella and her husband Jimmy Muscat, Carmen and her husband Peter Baker, Lourdes and her husband Joe Schembri, Manuel and his wife Joan, Melita and her husband Godfrey Vella, Jesmond and his son Luke, David and his wife Patricia, and Kenneth and his wife Martha, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves his residence tomorrow at 2.30pm for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Omm il-Ħniena Cemetery, Mellieħa. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
FARRUGIA. On April 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARLENE, née Xuereb, of Balzan and residing at Attard, widow of Walter, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmel Joseph (Lino) and his wife Bernardette, Boris and his wife Victoria, Walter and his wife Marie Therese, her beloved grandchildren Gayle and her husband Keith Sacco, Andrew and his wife Stephanie, Justin and his wife Eva, Keith and his wife Philippa and Daniel, her great-grandchildren Nicole, Lara,Hailey and Max, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
