Only a number of weeks ago, Arriva terminated its service in Malta, after it incurred big losses. It was said that primarily the routes were not well laid out and there was also the element of theft.

After driving through Sliema and St Julian’s, and still seeing the same number of buses, with destinations that are mind boggling, i.e. Mtarfa, Mellieħa, Ċirkewwa, I am very sure that the service is still losing the same amount of money, and this time it is we, the public, who are paying for these losses. I expect the new administration to take action and revise the routes very quickly.
