Mirallas: Belgian forward Kevin Mirallas will miss Everton’s last three games of the season in a blow for the club’s bid to overhaul Arsenal for a top-four finish. Mirallas scored Everton’s second goal in Sunday’s 2-0 home win over Manchester United but limped off at the end of the game at Goodison Park.

Sagbo: Hull City’s Yannick Sagbo has been fined £15,000 over comments posted on Twitter relating to the “quenelle” gesture, the FA said yesterday. The Ivory Coast international was charged in April after posting a picture of Nicolas Anelka making the “quenelle” gesture, which has links to anti-Semitism, with the caption “legend”.

Sassuolo: Relegation-threatened Sassuolo have suffered a blow ahead of next Monday’s Serie A home game against Juventus with three key players suspended. Sassuolo midfielders Davide Biondini and Simone Missiroli as well as top scorer Domenico Berardi were all booked in last weekend’s 1-0 triumph at Chievo and have all been banned for one game by the Serie A Lega.

Griffiths: The Scottish FA has postponed Leigh Griffiths’s disciplinary hearing to allow police to conclude their own investigation into allegations of “racist chanting”. The Celtic striker was due to face two charges in a Hampden hearing tomorrow after he was filmed in a pub full of Hibernian supporters before attending last month’s Edinburgh derby.

Betting charge: Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock has been charged in relation to breaking the FA’s betting rules. Blackstock has been accused of multiple breaches of conduct and has six days in which to respond to the charge.

The Championship: Bolton vs Leicester City 0-1; Reading vs Middlesbrough 2-0.

In Scotland: League One – Rangers vs Ayr United 2-1.
