This year’s International Age Group Swim Meet will be held at the National Swimming Complex, Tal-Qroqq, between Thursday and Saturday.

This annual Easter event, now in its 21st edition, has attracted several well-known swimmers, especially from abroad, while it has been a point of reference in the local swimming calendar in their bid to taper performances which top swimmers aim to reach in international events.

An encouraging number of entries are expected to patronise the events starting from those born in 1996 or before (the Open category) and going down on an annual basis to the youngest born in 2002 or after.

Swimmers in the top local bracket comprise among others those who did so well in the recent Eindhoven Meet as well as a number of swimmers from other countries.

There will be an afternoon session on Thursday followed by two sessions on Friday, at 9am and 3pm, and another on Saturday at 9am.
