A travel charger branded DC Casa poses a serious risk to consumers and has been recalled.

The Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority said it had tested a number of electronic and IT battery chargers on the market and found that the product does not comply with EU rules on low voltage.

The charger should not be used and should be returned to the shop, the authority said.

Consumers can phone 2395 2000 for further information.
