I do not doubt the special ability of Renzo Piano as an architect, but I disagree with two particular proposals.
Piano has visited Malta so many times that he should now know the acute problem of car parking, especially in Valletta. So why is he still insisting on having a garden instead of parking space at the Valletta ditch?
Anyway, who is going to go down to the ditch to see some flowers when the government had embellished every roundabout and central strip on the island?
On the open air theatre, is Piano suggesting patrons carry an umbrella in winter and take a duster along in summer to wipe off the chairs?
