To support YWCA Malta’s furnishing homes scheme, US Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley presented a sofa to Dar Qalb ta’ Gesu for the comfort of the residents.

Through the scheme, YWCA collects good-quality furniture and furnishings to distribute to people in shelters and institutions, refugees, single mothers and underprivileged families. The goods are donated by local companies, factories and private citizens.

Ambassador Abercrombie-Winstanley appealed to the public to support YWCA Malta’s efforts by donating unwanted good-quality furniture or other white goods.

She wished YWCA Malta every success with its scheme, as well as its other projects that promote positive social change.
