A small collection of works of art by some of Malta’s leading 20th century artists is being exhibited at Il-Ħaġar Heart of Gozo museum in St George’s Square, Victoria. They include works by Josef Kalleya (1898-1998), Giuseppe Briffa (1901-1987), the brothers Vincent Apap (1909-2002) and Willie Apap (1918-1970), Emvin Cremona (1919-1987) and Esprit Barthet (1919-1999).

The works, owned by Michael Grech, provide an opportunity to understand the nature of Maltese art from the mid- to late-20th century.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm until the end of April. It is organised by Michael Grech Financial Investment Services. Admission is free.
