After a season of intensive training and preparations, reigning Maltese champions Samuel Cali and Fiorella Sadowski were recently confirmed as the country’s two represenatives for the European Championships in Kazan, Russia, starting next Wednesday.

Cali will make his debut in the Europeans against Poland’s Michal Rogalski in the men’s singles and Sadowski will be challenging the winning player from the preliminary round match between Stefani Stoeva ((Bulgaria) and Marie Demy (Belgium) in the women’s competition.

Cali and Sadowski will then join forces to play in the Europeans mixed doubles.

Their opening match will be again Wales pair Daniel Font and Sarah Thomas.
