Obituary
AZOPARDI. On April 16, MARY, née Navarro, passed away peacefully at the age of 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Madeleine, wife of Andrew de Domenico, her grandchildren Debby and her husband George Vassallo, Darren, Adam and Joanna, Steve and Eve; her great-grandchildren Sasha and her husband Matthew Miceli Demajo, Kay, Sean, Ruby, Sam, Mia and Jack, and her great-grandchildren Seb and Daniel; her sister Carmelina Ebejer, her sister-in-law Mary Navarro, nephews and nieces. Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, April 21 at 8.45am at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

DLĦ’s spring fÊte
Din l-Art Ħelwa’s annual spring fête at the Msida bastion historic garden takes place on April 27 between 10am and 3pm. All funds collected will go towards the maintenance of this historic garden that is adorned with neo-classic monuments from the early 19th century. It is also the resting place of Mikiel Anton Vassalli, father of the Maltese language.
