Never mind egg hunts, this weekend is when singles step up their search for "The One", according to a dating website.

Easter week typically heralds a 70% increase in single sign-ups, peaking around Easter Sunday, eHarmony.co.uk said.

Spokesman Steve Carter said: "We also see a strong trend for the good weather, starting in spring, to boost our member numbers. We think this is driven by the desire to get out and enjoy more social activities after months of cold and dreary weather."
