ICE Malta’s third conference will focus on the use of tablets in the classroom. ‘Your classroom. Their future’ will be held on April 22 between 10am and 1pm at the University of Malta.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Ministry for Education and Employment, the One Tablet per Child initiative, the Malta Union of Teachers, the Malta Communications Authority and the University of Malta.

This edition is dedicated to pilot projects recently launched in Malta which will eventually be launched on a national scale. A number of workshops will give educators and students the chance to get first-hand examples of how to use the tablet during lessons including math, computer studies and languages. Another workshop will be dedicated to what educators should consider when using social media sites.

The conference is free but space is limited and registration will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
