Somali Omar Osman, 35, was today sentenced to 18 months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to breaking into Libyan tycoon Husni Bey's superyacht in Gzira and stealing his laptop, watch and mobile phone.

The laptop contained sensitive information regarding the Metropolis Development in Gzira.

Sources said that the culprit was caught on CCTV walking to the side door and entering the yacht's lobby from where he stole the Sony Vaio laptop, an HTC One mobile phone and a Bulgari watch.
The culprit left the scene closing the door behind him.Mr Osman has served time for rape and is currently undergoing procedures about an assault on a former Royal Marines cadet.
