Ten migrants have been repatriated to Accra, Ghana.

The repatriation was made on an Air Malta aircraft, with most of the costs being funded by the EU.

The migrants had been refused asylum. They were repatriated under heavy escort.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat had talks with the president of Ghana on the repatriation of migrants during the recent EU-Africa summit in Brussels.
