We are now being proposed a president of Malta without a conscience in matters constitutional. As things are, the formal appointment of a president entails a solemn ceremony wherein the person appointed takes an oath and kisses the Cross.

Is this then a charade? Andis our constitution that states that our national religion isthe Roman Catholic religionnot worth the paper it iswritten on?

I think not, with all respect.
